Random Observations (again)

Because of me being away on holiday for a week and having lots of work to do, my regular posts have started bunching. Two Random Observations posts in Consecutive Days and a gap of nearly a month earlier in the year. Hopefully, the bunching will stop soon enough. Anyway, this edition of Random Observations includes:

This is a VLE transferred from Stamford Brook Bus Garage to Fulwell. This bus has finally left Central London and has moved to the 57/613 replacing ageing ALX400's. The old buses will be made redundant. This is the new face on the 57. VLE2.

This is a blind change at St. Bartholomews Hospital. The 8 will have NB4L's next year so you won't be seeing an ALX400 with Bow Church on it's blinds for much longer.

Ehh, normal.

A few SP's on the 205 have advertisement on the upper deck ceiling.

Enviro's on the 235...

Bunching on the 235/237. Then, the inevitable happens on the 237:

A curtailment.

A Dart Pointer on the 235. They are in good condition but to be honest, they should get refurbished!!

Here is another 205 with advertisement on the ceiling. This SP has really uncomfortable seats at the front on the upper deck (right side).

A 36 at Paddington with an SEL (yay) in front.

Route 390 Conversion To NB4L

Hello, on 7th December Route 390 received a mix of new and existing NB4L's. The 24 retained some of it's existing NB4L's and this route got some of the new ones as well. Anyway, Route 390:
From Notting Hill Gate-Archway this route is quite short for a Central London Route. Even though I now quite like the New Bus For London, I am annoyed that they are now visible on Oxford Street and that the 148's SP's will be taken away and replaced with these types of buses. I will say no more and I will let the post continue:
