Race Across London-Ideas

Hello. This post is about a race across London that I would like to try out with some other bus enthusiasts to see who can get from one end of London to the other the quickest. But I have a few rules and regulations that I would like to go through with you. If you feel that any of the rules below need to be changed/adapted please either leave a comment or tweet me @LondonBusChaos.

Firstly, you can only use buses to get from the starting point to the end point. It makes it a bit more fun and interesting. You have to use exactly six buses to get from the starting place to the finish. To make the starting place convenient for everyone I have chosen Clapham Junction Station as a meet up point. The racers will split into two teams and then go.  There will be at least one adult per team (for safety). When you arrive at Clapham Junction, no one will know where the finish is apart from someone at a family member's workplace. The family member will bring in a map (with a sensible radius) to his workplace and ask someone to put a dot somewhere on the map and put it in an envelope. Out of all six buses you use, you have to be on each one for at least seven stops. The last bus you take will not have an at least seven stops rule. You have to take a picture of the iBus of the bus you're on and one person of the team has to be in the shot. The first team to get to the end point is the winner. Both teams may phone each other as much as they like. If you think some of these rules can be changed/adapted feel free to either tweet me or leave a comment on this blog and you are guaranteed to have a response from me within 24 hours. Bye!
