Route 55:Types Of Buses

There are many types of buses that appear on route 55. Here they are:
 
                                                               Enviro 400 10.2m:

Route 55 is a very busy route. Every bus is full up. The picture above shows the discomfort of route 55 in the peak hours. It is quite a nice journey from Oxford Circus-Leyton.

                                                         Enviro 400 10.8m:

Spirit Of London is a 10.8m Enviro 400. The only other 10.8m Enviro's in London are allocated to Route 61 (Bromley North-Chislehurst) and I can't be bothered to that far!

                                                           Scania OmniCity 10.8m/Trident ALX400 9.9m/Trident ALX400 10.5m.

Yes,three types of buses in one picture! The closest bus to the camera is the 9.9m ALX400. Close behind it is the Scania OmniCity and at the very far end of the street shows the rear of a 10.5m ALX400.
