Hello, many changes have happened to bus services recently and some will change dramatically later this year. First of all, recent changes:
- The new HV106 has entered service on routes 29/141
- HV132-142 have been in service on routes 319 and 59. Post coming soon.
- Route 308 has been extended to Clapton Pond and it has been re-routed through the Olympic Park and Stratford City. Tower Transit purchased 3 ex-LU Pointer Darts to cope with the extension.
- A tube strike saw many interesting buses turn up on routes, including LT's on the 148. Post coming soon.
Coming up:
- Route E3 (my local route) will be awarded to London United (my favourite company) with new buses!! I'm happy.
- Route E1 will be awarded to Abellio with hybrid double-deckers.
- Route E10 will be awarded to Tellings Golden-Miller and soon the route will be extended to Chiswick Business Park via Gunnersbury Avenue, Acton Town and Bollo Lane
- Route 148 will convert to New Bus For London operation this Saturday.
- Route 10 will convert to New Bus For London operation in April.
- Routes 54/75 will be awarded to Stagecoach with B5LH/Gemini 2 double-deckers.
- Route 7 will get new hybrid double-deckers. I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sad the SEL's are going from London. It's not nice having your favourite bus batch leave London. I will publish a tribute post to the SEL's later this year.
- Route 8 will convert to New Bus For London operation in June.
- Route 100 will get brand new Wright StreetLite hybrid buses.
