Route 153 new buses!

As you may know route 153 has recently been retained by CT Plus with brand new Enviro 200's. They are very new buses and unfortunately I only have an interior shot for you. Here is one going down St. John Street, thank you for reading another short post.

Routes 63 and N63 on temporary diversion.

As you  can tell from the picture. Routes 63 and N63 are on diversion due to roadworks on the routes. Instead of using Farringdon Road they will use Grays Inn Road and then will turn up Roseberry Avenue ( it might be Clerkenwell Road). Thank you for reading this very short post!

Piccadilly and District Line Rail Replacements!

Here is a Scania Omni City on service A for Hammersmith.

Here is another one standing at Northfields.

One of Arriva's buses stands at Northfields.

A Plaxton President overtakes a Scania Omni City at Northfields.

A Scania Omni City.

I don't know why these say Limited Stop on the front blinds because every Replacement is Limited Stop yet this is the only one with Limited Stop on the blinds. Weird!

A service A notice.

A graph showing the stops on service A.

This bus is for the 370 but it has not changed it's blinds.

Another " limited stop" service.

A bus that is Not in Service but is in service. Oh by the way, my best buses journey has been postponed because it will be nicer to go in the summer.

A 319 in Northfields. Only joking! It is just the wrong blinds.

An ALX400 which is going to terminate.

Another ALX400.

Another ALX400. I got on a Wrightbus Gemini 2 to Ealing Common.

A map explaining the complicated system.

I have no idea what this means!

If you can see, this is an odd working.

Finally, service E at Ealing Common bound for Rayners Lane. I will go on the Heathrow Pod later today. Yay!

Enviro 200: a brief history

This is an Enviro 200 at Richmond Bus Station owned by Abellio.

One of London United's Enviro 200's at Richmond Bus Station.

Here's one working for Metroline.

Another one working for London United.

Abellio's fleet of Enviro 200's

Metroline's DE at Perivale Garage.
A broken down First DML near Ealing Hospital.
The Enviro 200 has been a major success over the years. It can be found working for Abellio, Arriva, Arriva Southern Counties, CT plus, Go-Ahead, London Sovereign, London United, Metrobus,  Metroline, Quality Line, Stagecoach and Sullivan Buses. That means every single company has a type of Enviro 200 except Arriva The Shires. I personally think the Enviro 200 is boring however I have grown o the newer models. Oh by the way, I am going on a mad bus journey all around London which means staying out for 12 hours on the buses. I will be using routes 607,260,H3,210,214,C2,38,188,108,425,56,46,148,414,337,65 and E3. I adore all these bus routes which is why I have called it the Best Buses Journey. My next post will be the journey in more detail but for now, maybe you can have a go at figuring out what will happen on Friday. This journey was going to take place in December 2012 but typically I got ill on the day it was supposed to happen. But now I can do a post on this journey and I have modified the route a little. Bye! I hope you enjoyed my post which went a bit off subject. At least it was something to do with buses! HA HA HA

A london bus interior post!

An interior of a Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini owned by Go-Ahead London on route 45.

This is First Centrewest's only Wrightbus Streetlite. Here it is on route 228.

Route 45 again. This was the same bus as you saw earlier in the post and it is in the same direction.

The bell on one of Go-Ahead London's Mercedes Citaro's on route 521.

Another 45 Wrightbus. Also bound for Clapham Park. This bus ( not the route but the actual Wrightbus) has appeared three times on this post!

Arriva London's Wrightbus Gemini 2 on route 242. I like Arriva's seat design.

A repeat of the last picture.

This is almost an archive picture. A Metroline Dart Pointer on route 46.

Finally London United's recent seat design. I hope you enjoyed my post!
