Potters Bar Bus Garage Open Day Part 1

This is the start of Part 1 of my day out to Potters Bar Bus Garage Open Day.

A rail replacement bus is in front of my E2.

Tut Tut Tut. I've seen this on route E2 three times recently. I got off at Ealing Broadway Station, got the Central Line to Oxford Circus, then Victoria Line to Kings Cross.

Departure boards at Kings Cross Station.

On top of a First Capital Connect train!
I got on the 09:36 train terminating at Peterborough. I obviously was not going there!
I passed through Finsbury Park Station as well.
I got off at Potters Bar Station, trying to find the exit.
The exit sign.
While I was waiting for a bus, something quite remarkable was across the road.
Yes, LJ62 FNG on route 313.

The outside of  Potters Bar Station

A broken down 84 is standing at Potters Bar Station.

The side of AE11 on a 298 working. This was taken whilst on a 242 to Waltham Cross.

Normal observation on route 313.

The front of a heritage vehicle at the shrubbery of Potters Bar Garage.

A green RT also waits in the shrubbery for it's first trip of the day.

Appropriate blinds are needed.

Two non-identical buses take a rest.

The rear of JYC 288.

Side blinds.

The front of TE1442.

Information is provided.

Metroline did have to bring my least favourite double decker of all time. I tried it out on route 38X and it is far too complicated to explain how I dislike it here.

A very big contrast!

A very weird piece of machinery. A Bustubetrain!

A lineup of buses.

A bus is all alone...

Here is LT11. In theory, this bus has 26 sisters!

Interior of LT11.

If this were real, this would be an EXTREME odd working.

Good view!

Interior of one of the latest Enviro 200's.

LK62 DWJ blinded for route 460.

Good interior shot!

TE958 might be working the night shift.

Side blinds...

I figured out how to change the blinds of this 263 :D

Interior of a bus bound for Blanche Lane.

10 minutes later, I was in the countryside.

I then went into the Potters Bar Bus Garage canteen!

Obviously not these for lunch.

My ACTUAL lunch!

I went back into the main building and took some more pictures.

This was on route 248 at some time. More old vehicles coming up...

After I finished blinding route 263. The guards had fenced the vehicle off.

WLT 903 rests in the garage.

Return of the TP's!

Side blinds of a bus presumably was/will be on route N91.

The Gemini 2 we saw earlier.
I then bought some blinds for £5.00! These were for route 13.
This would normally be on route 234.

TE1447 again.

LK08 DWJ would normally be on routes 84/242.

LT11 again...

Brilliant view!

Wheelchair platform in use!

I didn't buy any refreshments, but I took a picture of the advertisement.

B101 WUV will be going to Cuffley Station. More on that later. Thanks for reading part one!
