6 months!
Hello, this is just a short post stating that London Buses:On The Go (this blog) has been in existence for 6 months! It all started when my first post Some Of My Favourite Bus Pictures appeared. Moving into February some comments came through and I had my first ever follower. I discovered lots of brilliant blogs which I will list here: All Over London Bus Blog, Circle Of London Blog, West London Bus Blog, London Bus Scene, London Buses:One Bus A Time, Tom London And Surrey Blog and WLTM Transport Blog. In March nothing exciting happened but I carried on blogging. In April I did 21 posts! This is still my record of posts in a month and will it be beaten anytime soon? In May I rode on my first night bus (the N9) and started my Fictional Bus Company. June was an extremely busy month. I did my 50th Post and went to Metroline CELF Centre and took lots of pictures. I also went to Potters Bar Bus Garage Open Day (Saturday 8th June) where I met good friends Tom Bowell and Joshua Perrett. I went to Swansea Bus Museum and saw lots of Heritage/Vintage vehicles. On Saturday 22nd June I met up with Tom and Josh again and also met up with good friends Au Morandarte and James Panaligan. Then I met up with Tom, Josh and Au on Saturday 6th July and covered 425/573/574. The following day we met up again at North Weald Bus and Coach Rally (Sunday 7th July). A post about that is due in a week or two. On Sunday 13th July I went to Uxbridge Running Day and rode on RM1! A post is due in a week or two. It has been a long and exciting journey and hopefully I will be on the blogging scene for a lot longer!
