All Change: 6th July

Hello and welcome to a long post about new buses. I got squashed like a lemon on the Jubilee Line to Stratford but I made it! I met up with Josh (WLTM Transport Blog, Unofficial Quality Line), Tom (Tom London And Surrey Bus Blog and WLTM Transport Blog) and Au (WLTM Transport Blog). I arrived at Stratford at 13:47, 17 minutes later than I intended!

I will start with two pictures that  I am extremely proud of. One of the 106 (which will be looked at more closely on a different post) and one of the 48 (a very interesting route).

I started taking pictures at Stratford Bus Station when waiting for the 425 to Clapton.

I then saw ED3 working route 108 at the other end of Stratford Bus Station.

I then got on the bus with Tom,Josh and Au.

An Ensignbus working a rail replacement service.

I then started looking out for odd workings.

Why would the 608 run on Saturday? Incorrect blinds are shown.
PVN13 running out of service.

This stretch of road is quite interesting.

An odd working on route 277. Sadly, my camera only has 5x zoom so I couldn't get a proper picture.

Next we went into Homerton.

DML44259 on route 236.

DCS3 on route 394.

Bus stop flag at Homerton Hospital.

,An extremely odd working on route 394! I give special/personal thanks to Tom Bowell for sending me this picture. Because of a traffic light, I couldn't get a good one.

Then, a short working on route 488.

Because of the sunlight, some of the pictures I took made the buses look pink.

Tom ,Josh ,Au and I then took pictures at Nightingale Road (the 425 stand).

I then ate a cereal bar and then did some bus observations.

Then I saw an odd working on route 55.

Side of DW529 working route 106. This is quite an interesting route because it links Whitechapel and Finsbury Park without going through Central/City of London.

All of us then got on a 55 to Hackney Central Station.

We ran to the station and glimpsed an NBFL.

All of us rode the London Overground to Stratford Station, changed onto a DLR and got that to Cyprus Station. We then waited for the 574 to North Woolwich, Free Ferry.

We then got on the bus and Tom saw a 474 curtailed to East Ham!

There was lots of traffic on the road nearing the ferry. I hope there was enough capacity on the boat!

We all then rode the 573 to London City Airport. We all needed the bathroom.

The 473 needs to be curtailed to London City Airport because of long-term roadworks. That's the reason why they put the temporary route 573.

London City Airport was shut, so we rode the DLR to Canning Town, where Josh and Au went to Canning Town Bus Station to find some bathroom facilities. Tom and I rode the Jubilee Line to Stratford and used the toilets in Westfield. We then went seperate ways. All in all, a brilliant day!
